About the Library & Miss Kefer
Welcome, Kissel Hill students, family, and friends! My name is Miss Kefer, and I am thrilled to join the Warwick team and become a Kissel Hill Climber! After starting in February of last school year, this is my first full year in the district. I am thrilled to be here with all of you!
ABOUT LIBRARY CLASS
As an elementary librarian, it is my goal to inspire a love of reading and the desire to be lifelong learners during a child's most formative years. In the library, we will be learning about authors and illustrators, literary awards, research skills, internet safety, and how to be effective users of information. Of course, we will also do our fair share of reading together. Each week, students will have the opportunity to borrow books from the library to enjoy at home or in the classroom.
ABOUT MISS KEFER
I grew up in Lancaster County and attended Lampeter-Strasburg High School before studying library science at Kutztown University. When I'm not curled up with a good book, I enjoy photography, spending time with family, being outdoors, baking tasty treats, and watching movies.
